I, Wanda Reardon, President of HomeSafe, Inc. has previous experience in disasters across the State of North Carolina.  I was employed by the State of North Carolina for 17 years working directly with the Deputy State Health Director.  I was part of the research team between the State of North Carolina and the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia regarding the tornados that hit North Carolina.  I have seen first hand the damage and interviewed many families that were directly involved with damaging storms or events.  Through all research regarding tornados or devastating events, the outstanding point is that families who owned an alert radio, in most cases, had prior warning.  It is my goal to get the word out that ALERT RADIOS SAVE LIVES.
